Production

Coming off the heels of Survivor: Islands of Adventure, winner Patrick Sidebotham offered to host the next season of the series. He enlisted the help of co-winner Dan Disbrow and the two planned and hosted the season.

Twists

• Player Characters: At the beginning of the season, each player was assigned a character from the original Super Smash Brothers game. Each character had a different power that could be activated upon winning a reward.
  • Captain Falcon: TBA
  • Donkey Kong: TBA
  • Fox: Players with Fox could assign one person at Tribal Council to have the sole counting vote, as long as that player was not themselves.
  • Jigglypuff: TBA
  • Kirby: Players with Kirby were given a Rose Gold Idol. A Rose Gold Idol cancels the effects of another power and can be played after that power is announced.
  • Link: Players with Link were given a double vote negator. Two votes against the player of their choice would be canceled.
  • Luigi: TBA
  • Mario: Players with Mario were given an Emerald Idol upon winning a reward. This idol acts as a regular Hidden Immunity Idol, but can only be played on another person.
  • Ness: TBA
  • Pikachu: Pikachu gave players an extra vote to cast at any one Tribal Council.
